Post: ICLT Manager

Salary: £39,000 plus OTE
Based in our head office in Manchester with travel across the business delivery locations.
Experienced ICLT Manager required, to join and support three associated companies across the education and training, employability and welfare to work sectors.
You will be the first point of contact in the management of all ICLT and IT services related provision managing staff and resources effectively to lead and deliver the continuous improvement and development of the IT infrastructure and strategy.
An effective hands on practitioner with the skills and vision to build and enhance business and commercial effectiveness through strategic planning and operational performance.
Acting as the key ambassador and driving agent in promoting best practice in using ICLT to improve teaching, learning and delivery within our company.
You will be equipped with the ability to provide support and assistance to all staff/students/clients that you may come into contact with, along with the skills and knowledge needed to ensure that all issues are dealt with swiftly and effectively.
Knowledge and experience of software including, but not limited to, Microsoft and Apple Mac operating systems, Google chrome book, Google Android, Apple iOS, TCP/IP networking and router/wireless configuration, VoIP telephony, Google apps administration, and general hardware support (eg PC, Printer, Laptop).
You must be able to set up and deploy resources, set up, maintain and control user accounts, e-mails and logins including network and third party systems, and must work in line with ISO 270001 data security principles.
Experience and understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP IP,LAN, Switches & routers, Wireless networking, firewalls, ADSL, VOIP and other telecommunications systems including mobile handsets.
You must have the ability to maintain a high degree of customer service and adhere to all service management principles and the ability to prioritise and manage heavy workloads and multiple priorities to ensure complete delivery of tasks and responsibilities.
You must have excellent communication skills in order to interact with other departments reliant on IT services, such as MIS and HR.
You must also maintain a high standard of efficiency and capability within the group’s systems (including those used for teaching and learning, telecommunications, and support services such as HR, Finance, Admissions) and help enable the group to adapt to changing environments and developing technologies.
You will be able to create disaster recovery plans and monitor all systems to maintain high standards of delivery, continuity and safeguarding of data.
As ICLT manager, you must ensure that appropriate mechanisms are in place for the effective management of employee performance and development for all staff within your team, have strong project management skills and be able to exercise sound financial controi of budgets and resources.
As a member of the senior management team you must support the Executive Group in helping the organization achieve its mission and strategic objectives by contributing fully to policy formation and decision making processes within the company.
